Gold Coast New Student Grants - Second Phase

    Apply for an AUD$1,000 Gold Coast New Student Grants 

    Eligibility Criteria
    The Gold Coast New Student Grants (Second Phase) is available to the first 100 international students who meet the following eligibility criteria and successfully complete the verification process:

    (a) hold a valid Student Visa (subclass 500), or have a successfully lodged a student visa application with the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), to study at an Experience Gold Coast Education Member Institution for at least 24 academic weeks.

    (b) is a new student with a course commencement date between 11 August 2025 and 31 March 2026;

    (c) submits all requested documentation to meet the conditions associated with the Gold Coast New Student Grants. View full terms and conditions here. 

    Applications are open from 6 August 2025 to 31 October 2025. Experience Gold Coast reserves the right to close applications prior to this date if the quota is exhausted.

    The Grant is not available to:

    (a) domestic students;
    (b) international students currently enrolled with an Australian institution; 
    (c) international students currently residing in Australia; or 
    (d) international students who have already applied for, and/or received the Gold Coast New Student Grants;

    Approvals will only be provided once a student attends the Gold Coast Student Hub in person submitting relevant documents including but not limited to:

    (a) passport;
    (b) Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE);
    (c) student visa grant notification;
    (d) evidence of arrival date, such as flight ticket; and
    (e) nominated Australian bank account details in the applicant’s name.
